If anyone watched The Apprentice this Wednesday just gone, this isn’t that. For those who didn’t watch The Apprentice this Wednesday just gone, the jumped-up little ne’er do wells (they don’t ever really do that well, do they? Considering they’re supposed to be the best of the best) had to set up a new fast-food restaurant, blah, colour and movement, more blah, one of the teams launches a god-awful Mexican fast food restaurant. And names it after the capital of Venezuela. Anyway, this isn’t that. What Poncho 8 is, however, is a much-needed addition to Soho’s glittering jump in, jump out-with-delicious-food scene, right slap bang on Old Compton Street. We’re so excited that it’s right slap bang on Old Compton Street that we almost wrote it in capitals. And we’re thinking we may as well leave things there. We could carry on by repeating information you can quite easily find here, but that would be a waste of everyone’s time – and who wants that on their conscience?
