When it comes to rooms with views, there can’t be many more spectacular than the London Sky Bar 360 over at Millbank, now that they have cleared the fire-extinguisher-chucking students from the premises.
Part of the Altitude London project that also sees a new Curzon cinema opening, the Sky Bar is a very impressive 32 storeys above the river with panoramic views of pretty much the whole of London town from Crystal Palace to the giddy heights of Highgate. Imagine that on a summer’s evening.
With top mixologists (we think that word has had its day, by the way) jetted in from, well, lots of places (Lavender Margarita, anyone?) and all the right DJs, it’s a private member’s club if you have a couple of thousand pounds to lay out or you can dip your toe in for £20 a time. Open from 6.30pm Fridays and Saturdays for anything from an after-work cocktail to a big night out, you‘ll find the London Sky Bar at Millbank Tower, 21-24 Millbank, London SW1.
