You can never have enough of a good thing, which is why very good thing indeed, the V&A, has burst out of its building and established what it’s calling the V&A Reading Rooms at a spot within spitting distance (not like we’d ever spit!) from the main action in Cromwell Road.
It’s a bookshop, it’s a wine bar, it’s a coffee shop, it’s a gift emporium, it’s a shrine to lovely early mid-century interiors (as executed by architect and Friend of Madonna David Collins) and, most importantly, it’s a find. Take up residence at 8 Exhibition Road, London SW7. Fingers crossed the V&A takes over the whole of South Kensington.
